We are hiring an SDE 2 for an AI-driven healthcare technology company transforming medical coding and revenue cycle management. You will build scalable backend systems, develop high-performance APIs, and improve the reliability and performance of healthcare applications handling complex workflows.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and architectures.
- Build and optimize high-performance REST APIs and system integrations.
- Develop reliable distributed systems with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.
- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize data models and queries.
- Build and maintain event-driven workflows using message brokers such as Kafka.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and follow engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable healthcare technology solutions.
Must have
2–4 years of experience in backend or software development. Strong proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Node.js, or Go. Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, and problem-solving. Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and backend services. Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems concepts. Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka and event-driven architectures. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
Good to have
Experience building and maintaining production-grade, scalable applications. Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Understanding of system design, caching, and performance optimization. Experience with monitoring, logging, and debugging production systems. Familiarity with healthcare technology, medical coding, or revenue cycle management. Exposure to AI/ML-powered applications or integrating AI services. Experience working in a fast-paced product startup environment.
