DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and operational systems. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, automation, security, monitoring, performance optimization, and ensuring reliable and scalable software delivery in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Understand project requirements and OKRs and translate them into reliable infrastructure and deployment solutions.
- Design, manage, automate, and monitor software build environments and processes.
- Architect, design, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Ensure highly sensitive customer data and infrastructure remain secure.
- Automate provisioning of servers, networks, storage, and other infrastructure components.
- Instrument applications to establish performance baselines and enable rapid diagnostics and issue resolution.
- Automate provisioning and integration tasks required for deploying new code.
- Manage and optimize application infrastructure involving Linux, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Kafka, Redis, and related technologies.
- Establish and maintain high standards of code quality, testing rigor, and DevOps best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across development and operational processes.
- Collaborate effectively across functional teams and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues using an analytical and decisive approach.
Must have
4–6 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE roles. Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment. Experience with Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting. Hands-on experience with Linux administration, particularly RHEL/CentOS. Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Chef. Experience with GitLab or GitHub. Hands-on experience with web application infrastructure technologies such as MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Kafka, and Redis. Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or RDS. Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, Ruby, or similar languages. Strong automation mindset with the ability to automate provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks. Good understanding of infrastructure security and securing sensitive customer data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to have
Experience building and maintaining highly scalable production infrastructure. Experience with application performance instrumentation, monitoring, and diagnostics. Experience automating server, network, and storage provisioning. Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environments. Strong understanding of infrastructure best practices, code quality, and testing rigor. Experience with cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
