We are hiring a Product Manager for a fast-growing trading technology startup backed by Accel and Elevation Capital. You will own critical trading journeys across order placement, positions, funds, margin, and portfolio, building high-performance products that improve the everyday experience of active Indian retail traders.
What you'll do
- Own core trading journeys across order placement, positions, funds, margin, and portfolio.
- Identify user friction through funnel analysis, customer feedback, and product data.
- Translate complex trading behaviours and requirements into clear, execution-ready PRDs.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to prototype, build, test, and launch features.
- Engage with active traders and communities to understand user needs and validate product hypotheses.
- Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and drive continuous improvements.
- Prioritize product initiatives with a focus on speed, precision, reliability, and user trust.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping, product definition, and execution.
Must have
2+ years of experience building and managing user-facing B2C products. Hands-on experience building products for Indian stock, derivatives, or crypto trading platforms — mandatory. Strong understanding of trading journeys such as order placement, positions, funds, margin, onboarding, or charts. Proven ability to own features end-to-end, from identifying user problems to production launch. Experience writing detailed PRDs, product specifications, and execution plans. Strong analytical skills, including hands-on SQL and funnel analysis. Ability to define product metrics, evaluate experiments, and make data-driven decisions. High ownership, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Good to have
Experience working on products for active or high-frequency retail traders. Understanding of Indian equity and derivatives markets, including F&O trading. Familiarity with order execution, margin requirements, brokerage systems, and trading regulations. Experience improving latency, reliability, and performance in real-time products. Exposure to product analytics tools and experimentation frameworks. Experience conducting user research and engaging with active trader communities. Hands-on familiarity with AI tools for product research, prototyping, and workflow automation. Experience working in an early-stage startup or founder-led product team.
