We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with 4–6 years of experience to build, scale, and optimize modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, with the ability to independently own features from development to deployment. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable, performant, and user-focused web experiences while contributing to technical decisions and engineering best practices.
What you'll do
- Own the development and delivery of complex web features from requirement gathering to production.
- Build scalable, reusable, and high-performance applications using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Design and integrate APIs while collaborating closely with backend engineers.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues across the application.
- Participate actively in code reviews and establish engineering best practices.
- Contribute to technical architecture, technology decisions, and long-term product scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and help improve overall engineering quality and development processes.
Must have
4–6 years of professional experience in web development, preferably in product/startup environments. Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend architecture. Strong proficiency in Next.js, including routing, server-side rendering, API routes, and performance optimization. Excellent knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+ concepts, asynchronous programming, and modern development practices. Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and building responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces. Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working with backend services. Strong understanding of web performance, scalability, browser compatibility, and frontend optimization. Proficiency with Git, code reviews, debugging, testing, and writing clean, maintainable production-grade code.
Good to have
Full-stack development experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar backend frameworks. Experience with React Native or cross-platform application development. Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis. Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment infrastructure such as AWS, Vercel, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines. Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright. Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, security, and API best practices. Experience with system design, application architecture, and designing scalable frontend/backend systems. Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering standards, technical documentation, and architectural decisions.
